Welcome to my page!
I am “Laurin with an i” because I am different! My last name is Farmer and I am actually a farmer. Now I will be easy to remember 🙂 I was born and raised in East Texas (yes, it’s different from the rest of the state), but have also lived in Lexington, Kentucky and Sonora, California for a year each. My husband and I have been together just over 10 years and we are blessed with two incredibly funny little girls. I am blessed to be a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) and to have the freedom to homeschool my children. We have a small farm that includes but is not limited to: chickens, goats, dog, cat, hermit crabs, and a beta fish. We are constantly striving to become more self-sufficient as we learn more about homesteading and getting back to our ancestral roots. I am a faith-filled holistic momma, health and wellness advocate, doula, and freedom fighter.
I believe in raising our children and future generations to be the difference we want to see in the world.
I look forward to sharing heart-felt revelations, stories of hope, hysterical memories, mom truths, encouragement, holistic remedies, farm life learning experiences, marriage wisdom, and fun and interesting ancestral facts. I also plan to share bits and pieces of the journey grief inevitably takes us on, and my experiences and empathy towards caregivers.
